Hello everyone, I am now at school and playing on a computer. Why not? Practically everyone here does it.
Stormcrowe last evening sprung another leak. It was just like the last one he had a few days ago. The Doctors do not seem too worried about it. I just hope they are right about this one. Stormcrowe still even wanted to come to school today for his own classes. The will power that man has. I just wish I had an ounce of it. I do believe it would be well worth it. Enough about this.

Everyone out in blog land doing ok. I do hope so. The weather here does not know to be either cold or too blooming warm for winter. The systems here are just plain messed up.

Well it is about time for this dear person to go off to class. Nice talkin' to all of you and hope to be back soon.

YOU CAN SEE I AM HITTING ONE TOO MANY KEYS ON THIS THING. BETWEEN SCHOOL AND STORMCROWE ALL HAVE BEEN VERY BUSY. I AM SO GLAD TO SEE HE WENT THRU THIS SURGERY AS IF IT WAS NOTHING AT ALL. Hello to one and all.

I thought I would tell all out there of a very easy leg warmer pattern. Here goes.
Chain 62 stitches with a Size L hook. Crochet hook that is.
Single Crochet in the first 20 stitches, in the next 20 stitches double crochet, and the last of the row triple crochet. Chain one and then turn. For the next 3 rows single crochet in the each stitch across. Chain one and then turn. The next row after doing this go back to the single crochet for twenty stitches, double crochet for 2o stitches and then the triple crochet for the rest of the row.

Do this set up for 8 times , one row of the twenty stitches of the 3 stitches with 3 rows of the single crochet stitches. Then whip stitch the piece together so it looks like a round circle this goes up to approximately midpoint between the knee and hip. Or bunch it down like most people do from ankle to knee. these are warm and can be made in any solid weight yarn there is. Sorry none of the fun fur or anything of that nature. I will have Stormcrowe make a picture of these for you and put them out so everyone can see them. The wider area is higher on the leg and the smaller area is of course the ankle.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!

Hello to one and all. I have been away for a bit because of getting ready for Christmas and sleeping alot lately. The latter is because of just being lazy.

Stormcrowe I understand told all of ya about the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip granola that I made. Yes, it is sugar free and very low in the fat department.

The Chocolate Chips are Carob pieces about 3/4 of a cup. More if you like more.
No flour here. If you have a food processor grind up 2 cups of Oatmeal. This makes up a flour type of item but is not flour. If no food processor, just get Oat flour. Health food department in most groceries have it. If not, the nearest health food type of grocery. Next 3/4 cup of Splenda Brown Sugar type of mix and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda. If can not find the Splenda Brown Sugar, Sweet and low makes the stuff also. Mix all dry ingredients together.
Next comes 2 eggs beaten when put into the mix after combining 2 sticks or 1/2 cup of butter (the extent of the fat) If want also can put a bit of peanut butter in it. Not alot because it can make the mix runny. After all of this is put together put in at least 1 cup of Regular Oatmeal, none of the quick cooking stuff ok. Bake all of this for 9-12 minutes depending on ovens at 350 degrees. At least until the bottoms are brown The granola will seem a little soft at first but does firm up. Hope you like it. This makes around 4 dozen cookie type of pieces.

I just witnessed one of the silliest things on earth. Stormcrowe is out riding his bike in 18 degree weather. That is sure plain silliness. I will post pictures when I get home. This is the plan I am gonna to make sugar free cookies tomorrow and hopefully some of them will still be around when we go north for the holiday.

I will get the pictures to you, later this afternoon.

Yarn and Coathanger Christmas Trees!

Hi there to everyone. The Mrs. The pattern mentioned in the title that is so easy, even a man can do it. (Just joking there fellas.) I have proof of this. Stormcrowe made the Christmas tree base for me.

All pictures for this will be in the post below.
1. Find a piece of cardboard and make it any size you want as long it is under 4" by 6".
2. Find the yarn you would want your tree to look like. (There is no guarentee that it has to green ok.) Any color that is wanted.
3. Wind around the cardboard how many loops you would like your ball to have. The amount of loops is also up to you. Do not cut the loops slide off the cardboard and tie a very tight loop with a few knots around the loops. This is then tied to the Triangle Christmas tree base. Stuff the base as with as many loops you want. Put a star on top.
4. The Christmas is 2 metal coat hangers bent into the shape of triangles and interlaced crossed and wired together. Plastic wire ties would also work to lash the tree together, also.
5. Then off you go to see what type of crafted Christmas tree you can make.

Sugarless Chocolate Chip Time

I promised my own cookie receipe and here we go.

1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar free (Sugar Twin) brown sugar
16 packets of a sweetener of choice. I use Splenda.
Chocolate chips of choice 1 bag. I use the Milk chocolate ones.
1 egg
1/2 cup of water. only add more if mix is too dry for personal taste.
1/2 cup of peanut butter or oatmeal. I at times have used both and stormcrowe loves them. This is also optional.
1/2 stick of butter. can use a little bit more this is also up to taste.

Combine all of the items. Flour and buter first. Then add the Sweetener's and then start to add the egg, peanut butter or oatmeal and then the water. Do not let it get too sticky but enough moisture to hold balls of dough.
Cook at 350 degrees for 5-8 minutes. the longer the crisper the cookie. i like mine chewy. Hope all of you like them.

Now for me. I like the above cookies and I usually make them around this time of the year. O yes, I will hear it on this one, Stormcrowe's birthday is coming up on the 23rd. That way I am wishing him a good day to come.

School Time

I am at school at this very moment doing the one thing the school frowns on if caught. Writing in a blog of any sort. I do not care at the moment because the person sitting next to me is also doing the same thing. Stormcrowe and myself have one week of classes left and then the glorious finals. I have found out that all of my finals will be multiple day finals. I just love those things. More chance to flub something up I have it on a good opinion that I will do very well on all of the finals and things that are thrown at me. Have at folks, I can only do the best of this old woman's ability. As for the Stormcrowe, the man has already taken 2 of his finals and has gotten A's out of his classes. I am glad to see it. I am just waiting for him to get into his math part of his studies. He will be yelling for all the help in the world. Namely me. HELP!!! Show me where to hide. (I do hope one and all of ya do understand that I am kidding here.)

I need to come back this afternoon to do a class in Payroll Accounting, I do not mind the class but my last project is done and all we are doing this week is finishing up on it. I guess I can take a nap then. (Hopefully without getting caught).

I will admit being in college at my age has been an experience in a half here. I have loved being around the loads of people I have come into contact with and also the different attitudes one can run into here.

Peg, the items I was speaking of then was also a Payroll Project I needed to get in. One of three. I had to do one out of the book by hand, one by computer and then think one completely up on my own. I liked that one the best. I made up a business called The LemonAde Stand. The Lemons are not the drink all of us like. It is a used car lot. My Professor when I turned that in thought I was nuts but I passed it with flying colors. The one by hand I have no idea as of yet. The computer one is not due until this coming Monday. I'm Back

As the title beholds, guess who is back. The Ole Mrs Stormcrowe. Stormcrowe thinks I like John here but he is just as much an idiot as the other one. Boy o Boy the choices for the leader anymore.

Now for the good news. I got an 86 on that good ole test I spoke of. Yea, for me. I am dancing in the streets on that one.

I will be off to my books, yes even on the holiday and believe me, my professor's thought it would be funny to decide to give enought homework to be done for all the fall term in school due this coming Monday. On to business! Here's a picture of one of my scarfs! The pattern is incredibly simple to do and it creates a nice warm scarf:
I used a 23 stitch round loom. All one needs to do is pick the color wanted and just make what is known as cursive e's around each post. For the first stitch go around twice and then bring the lowest loop over the top loop. After each round make one more loop around and then go over the top round with the lowest round. Make the desired length and this is taken off the loom by one would with regular straight knitting needles. Take one loop off one post, then go to next post, pull thru the second loop first post loop and continued round until and tie off as if you are tieing off a pair of shoes. Just do this twice and then pull knot into the piece with a crochet hook. Both ends then need to be sewn shut. Any way that is comfortable with each of you will be fine.
The fringe is then put on the spacing of each person's desire and the length is up to you also. Just remember to even it out on both sides when done.
